Shot this on the drive up highway 1, when the swell was huge, on the way to meet the other members, to rehearse for the first time in 25 years, together again… to prepare for the David Freel tribute tour we were discussing. Even the hawk footage was part of the session. Felt connected to David on the drive and the filming of it all. “Everything moves on…” I wanted to capture something that fit David’s last line… and there he was, just as I was getting in the car to leave for the studio. The hawk I mean.
