The San Francisco band Swell are heading to Europe as “Members of Swell.” Originally conceived by the late David Freel and Sean Kirkpatrick in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district, Swell became a cult name known for its cinematic, raw, and unmistakably melancholic sound.

For this tour, original members Sean Kirkpatrick (drums) and John Dettman-Lytle (vocals/guitar) are joined by Tim Adams (bass) and Philippe Gunst (guitar, keyboards; Fragment). Together, they revisit the Swell catalog with renewed energy while staying true to the spirit of the original recordings.

Following David Freel’s passing in 2022, recent shows have confirmed that Swell still connects strongly with audiences across Europe and the US.

The tour will include dates in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France.
